LaLa Lunchbox buzz!
LaLa Lunchbox, the latest app from our workshop, is getting rave reviews! We’ve already written how the app was developed, focusing on the importance of UI/UX design and wireframes, and it’s also interesting to read about the original idea and how it all began. If you haven’t yet, go ahead and try it out – it will make your kids’ weekly lunch planning a piece of cake.
In the mean time, the app was reviewed and mentioned in dozens of online and offline sources. The app was featured as new & noteworthy in iTunes. That launched it into being a top-ten in Lifestyle category and within the top 250 in the App Store overall. Watch out ESPN or LaLa will eat you for lunch.
PandoDaily says ”The app is very engaging [...] Given all kids love affair with iPhones, it seems a no brainer way to get them engaged with lunch planning”, and Maye Musk, a registered dietitian, is ”impressed with new app for nutritious school lunches; kids will be excited to choose their foods”.
The New York Times: A slick, fun little app that helps parents and children.
The app was mentioned in New York Times, reviewed on Food52 emphasizing kids involvement in the app from step 1, and also reviewed on Eating The Week, Dadnabbit and Overlapps. We’re proud for the mention on Swiss Miss, a design blog. All sources are unanimous about the design, functionality and ease of use, which are along with the idea itself, the main reasons of the app success.
Needless to say, LaLa Lunchbox has 5 star reviews in the App Store. See all the reviews on the official website, follow the buzz on Twitter @LaLaLunchbox and Facebook where the app already has 5000+ fans.
Stay tuned for new cool apps coming from our team!
